technically American and Ukrainian. She was born in Ukraine and her parents are
Ukrainian but they moved to the States when Mila was just seven years old.

Mila Kunis was born in
Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Since she was born in ’83 (while Ukraine was still part of
the Soviet Union) and moved to America in 1991 (the year Ukraine became
independent) she doesn’t really have memories of current independent Ukraine,
she was a Soviet Union baby and she doesn’t speak Ukrainian. Mila and her
family speak Russian because that was the prevalent language in the Soviet
Union.
