We all struggle to
appear natural yet look good in photos, but celebrities have to deal
with it every day. If they’re not on a red carpet, they’re being
followed by paparazzi or doing a photo shoot for something. Over the
years a lot of them have found their signature photo pose that they
go to whenever they have to have their picture taken and it’s kind
of interesting to see what each of them does. There are some classic,
and there are also some very unique ones. Some look like a carefully
chosen pose to show off their figure, while others look like
something they just do out of feeling awkward.
1. Taylor Swift
Whenever you see
Taylor Swift on the red carpet she’s almost always standing a bit
sideways, with one hand on the hip. It’s her signature pose. And as
far as poses go we’d say it’s a good one. It’s almost natural.
2. Dwayne The Rock

Dwayne is often seen
rubbing his hands or clasping them in front of his body. It can look
like he’s ready for business or just a bit awkward and doesn’t know
what to do with his hands. Or maybe it’s a great way to show off
his arms?
3. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga’s
signature pose is hands on her waist and elbows out. It’s
definitely a power pose and it accentuates her small waist too. A
great move for such a short lady to make herself look more in control
of the situation.
4. Michael B.
Jordan
Michael B. Jordan
seems to have a very similar pose to Dwayne Johnson. Hands in front,
rubbing them together. We don’t know what it is with men and why
they do this, but as you can see this particular pose is quite
popular.
5. Emmy Rossum
Emmy Rossum loves a
good over the shoulder look. She’s often photographed with her back
to the camera, showing off the back of her dress (which is often
open) and looking over her shoulder as if to be like “oh, I didn’t
know you were taking a picture of me, but hi”.
6. Sofia Vergara
Sofia Vergara’s
power stance involves her standing straight up facing the camera and
her hands low on her hips. She also often will cross her legs to
achieve even more of a curvy look. And why shouldn’t she? Her
curves are legendary, she should accentuate them as much as she
wants.
7. Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman is
such a massive movie star yet she’s often seen with her hands
clasped low in front of her, looking like she’s really feeling out
of place. Or maybe that pose is supposed to achieve that modest,
slightly awkward look?
8. Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian
always puts one leg forward, probably to add more angles to her
silhouette and to accentuate her curvy figure. And as we’re sure
everyone will agree, it’s definitely working for her. This woman
knows all her best angles.
9. Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson
became a bit of a meme back in the day because of how much he used to
play with his hair. It must’ve been a nervous habit or something
and it seems like he’s doing it less now, but it still sneaks up on
him.
10. Zendaya
Zendaya loves to
throw her fingers up for a picture. It looks very cool and she’s
showing some attitude in a playful manner, but we wonder if she knows
that this particular gesture that looks like the reversed peace sign
is actually very rude in Britain.
11. Nicki Minaj
Nicki has changed up her look quite a lot over the years but one thing she’s sticking with is her signature pose. She’s often photographed at red carpets and events with her legs crossed. Sometimes she puts her hands on her hips, sometimes they’re just alongside her body, but that leg crossing action is always there.
