Dave Franco is a well
known American actor best known from Scrubs and 21 Jump Street. If his name
sounds familiar it’s probably because you’re also aware of his brother James
Franco. From the very beginning, Dave made it a point to not be in the movies
with his brother until he made a name for himself separately. He just didn’t
want to be known as James Franco’s little brother. You probably haven’t heard
that much about Dave outside of his career, cause he tends to keep to himself

Franco actually
auditioned for the role of Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie. He even read
with the director Catherine Hardwicke. We don’t know why he didn’t get the
role, but can you envision him playing Edward instead of Robert Pattinson. Do

He’s A Cat Guy
Dave Franco has 2 cats
Harry and Arturo who are brothers and he admits he’s a weird cat guy. He just
loves them and so does the rest of his family. Once he actually brought his
cats home to his mother, who already has 2 of her own cats, and then his
brother James also came over with his 2 cats. Their house became essentially a
cat haven. But later they found out that having 6 cats in the house is actually
illegal.

Dave and actress Alison
Brie that you know best from Community and probably Mad Men have been in a
serious relationship since 2012. They got engaged in 2015 which they kept
secret for a while and then they got married in 2017 in a private ceremony. It
was only when Dave’s publicist confirmed the news that the big secret was
revealed.

His Movies and Roles
Dave Franco is very
aware that he’s often cast for a character people love to hate. He played the
snooty doctor on Scrubs, he was the popular kid who sells drugs on 21 Jump
Street. And one time when he was complaining about being cast for such roles
and trying to figure out why that’s happening he was told he just has an
a**hole face. However, that face didn’t stop Dave Franco from having a net
worth of $10 million.

He’s No Stranger To Playing With Fire
He once caused a fire in
his dorm room when he was in college. The reason behind it is hilarious. It
smelled bad in the room because he lived with 2 other guys and boys aren’t
exactly known for great hygiene. So their solution was to order a cookie
smelling candle from eBay and then that caused their room to burn down.

He Comes From A Talented Family
You know that Dave’s
brother James is a talented actor, that’s not exactly a secret for anyone. But
did you know that his whole family is very talented and artsy? His other
brother Tom Franco is a sculptor, his mother is a poet, author, editor and she
did some acting too, his paternal grandmother is a published author, and his
maternal grandma owned the Verne Art Gallery in Cleveland.

He’s A True Sweetheart
When Dave was still in
high school he surprised his girlfriend for her birthday by getting to school
early and leaving a rose with every one of her teachers for the day. How sweet
is that? And later on, he chose to spend his first big paycheck on his mother
by getting her a flat-screen TV, to replace her big old and bulky 90s TV.

No Children, Thanks
Dave had been with his partner Alison for a long time now. Many would expect them to start having kids after 7 years together, but they both have no plans to have kids as of yet. They say having two cats is already stressful and they think of them as their little furry babies. Plus both of their careers are going well so scheduling kids isn’t exactly possible. So they’re very happy to just be a little cat family for now. No children, thanks.
